To design an even more premium line extension of the Classic Malts Collection of Whiskies. The range would be targeted towards the International Duty Free Gift markets.

the design solution

The creation of The Distillers Edition reflects the highly individual and premium nature of these specially selected whiskies. The series of hallmarks (as seen on the side of the outer packaging and the main label) was designed to convey details of the individual distillery, its founding assay mark, the type of wood used to mature the whisky and the Master Distillers monogram; whilst also providing a strong and attractive linking device shared by each whisky in the collection.

Since its launch, millions of bottles have been sold worldwide creating a strong global presence for the range and its individual producers.
